A young woman struggles to survive the zombie apocalypse, but find that some debts never die.
SYNOPSIS:
Stacey thinks it’s her against the world during the recent zombie apocalypse. Little does she know that she’s up against more than what she’s bargained for when the Loan Ranger arrives.
ABOUT:
Zombie Debt is a short film that pokes fun at student loan debt collectors collecting student loan debt in the zombie apocalypse. Inspired by the real life struggle of college graduates, Zombie Debt was written/produced by Rose Meza and directed/edited by Ash Blodgett. It was filmed in one day in Santa Barbara, California on a small budget. Despite the limitations the film has been widely well received, being accepted into seventeen film festivals, winning size awards, and racking up thirteen nominations.
